Grown Ups 2 is a 2013 American buddy comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan, and produced by Adam Sandler. The film is the sequel to the 2010 film Grown Ups. It features an ensemble cast including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Salma Hayek. Rob Schneider did not reprise his role from the first film. The film is produced by Sandler's production company Happy Madison and distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film was released on July 12, 2013, and was heavily panned by critics.
Three years after the events of Grown Ups, Lenny Feder has relocated his family back to Connecticut where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises, the last day of school. In the beginning, all of them still think that their children are still kids, however throughout the film they begin to accept that their children are growing up.
